Sedona Sky Spa Collection
Sedona Sky is the spa line — the quieter half of what we make, built around single, legible scents rather than complicated ones. Every candle in it is food-grade coconut wax with a lead-free braided cotton wick, filled by hand in small batches in Scottsdale, Arizona, and every eight ounce jar runs about eighty hours.
What's in the collection
Eleven candle scents, from the bright and simple end — Honeysuckle, Fleur d'Orange, Lemongrass Energy, Peony — through to the warmer ones you reach for after dark: Vanilla Bean, Santal Desire, Lavender Relaxation, Balsam Fir Seasons, Blue Birch and Red Currant.
Several of the scents continue past the candle. Santal Desire and Lavender Relaxation are also made as twelve and sixteen ounce body lotions, hair and body mists, and perfume rollers, so the same fragrance can run from the room to the skin. There is also a matte white warmer lamp for anyone who wants the scent thrown without an open flame.
How Sedona Sky differs from Harmonie
Harmonie candles are the fuller, more composed fragrances — Wild Ginger, Santal Blue, Mystique — and they are priced accordingly. Sedona Sky is the simpler proposition: one clear idea per jar, at $35 for eight ounces. If you are buying a candle for someone whose taste you do not know, this is the safer collection to buy from.
Choosing a scent
Light florals and citrus (Honeysuckle, Fleur d'Orange, Peony, Lemongrass) suit kitchens, bathrooms and mornings, and work best in smaller rooms. The warm and woody end (Vanilla Bean, Santal Desire, Balsam Fir) carries further and holds a larger room, and suits evenings. Trim the wick to a quarter inch each time and keep single burns under four hours, whichever you choose.
